To start off with, I hate blogs. Really. I do.  But….I kind of feel like I need a creative outlet for all of my various interests, as well as a place to keep information/posts that I wish to reference back to. Just a warning, my interests vary greatly, so this blog will likely contain posts about software development, being a dad, being a husband, cooking, bbq, biking, woodworking, camping, bushcraft, hunting, music, television, books, learning, etc etc etc.

To start off with, my name is Shane. I live in Oregon. I’m a conservative politically. I am married with 4 kids. There, now you have the basics. I’m sure more will come, as if you care.
